Homology Directed Repair 1-Day Workshop

Meliá Lebreros Hotel, Seville
Monday 6 October 2025

Welcome & meeting objectives

Gene editing based on homology-directed repair (HDR) remains one of the most versatile ways to edit the human genome. This workshop will provide an overview of the current state of the HDR field, setting the stage for in-depth discussions on how to advance and optimize HDR technologies across all nuclease platforms. Attendees will gain insights into recent progress in enhancing HDR efficiency, determining editing specificity, applying HDR in diverse cell types, and the workshop will also present the latest clinical data on HDR-edited cells. Join us to explore where the field stands today and collaboratively identify new strategies to drive HDR technology forward.
